Lizzy Rocks the Country Club!!

The show at the Country Club in Reseda was amazing. The band line up Lizzy, Joey Scott, Alex Nelson and Marten Andersson were all at the top of their game. The special effects including the axe scene with porn star Jasmine Saint Clare blew everyone's mind. The fans seemed to be mesmerized by Lizzy through the entire show. Lizzy was also joined on stage by Betsy from Bitch during the encore which was a great rendition of the Kiss song Detroit Rock City.

The only draw back of the show was the cops showing up right before the band went on and shut down the bar and arrested a hell of a lot of people, but the band went on anyway, it turns out that one of the cops was a Lizzy Borden fan, so the band gave him a few CD's and they left. The band went on to play about an hour and a half without interruption. If you missed this show you missed the show of the year. But you still have three more chances to see the band, although I don't know if they can top this show.

The band is scheduled to begin recording the new record as soon as they finish off these last three shows.

After finishing up three blistering warm up shows in Arizona and California, Lizzy Borden will descend on the Country Club in Reseda on Saturday February 27th. The Country Club show will mark the first large scale production that Lizzy has put on in several years.

Lizzy and Company have been gearing up for this show for quit some time. Lizzy has even recruited the help of top special effects and set designer Jack Parr. Jack has designed and built custom sets, costumes,  pyrotechnics and effects specially for this show. Jack's credits include the movies Scream, Friday the thirteenth, Power Rangers and many more. "This will be the biggest show we've ever put on" says Lizzy, about this show. Lizzy is out to reclaim the title as most outrages band in the world by returning to the scene of the crime.

Lizzy's last live album, Murderess Metal Roadshow (recorded at the Country Club) was an entertaining over the top psycho metal fest that changed the face of performance metal forever and influenced a generation. This show named Murderess Metal Roadshow II will surely push the envelope of outrageousness and bone crushing metal once again.

It's a show you don't want to miss.
